Bibhuti Bhusan Das, MD

I am a psychiatrist at Meridian Health Services in Anderson, Indiana, where I provide outpatient psychiatric care for individuals facing a wide range of mental health concerns. My work includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment designed to support recovery and improve quality of life. I believe in a collaborative approach to care and work closely with therapists, case managers, primary care providers, and families to help patients achieve their treatment goals.
I have several years of experience in psychiatry and behavioral health, including work in both forensic and community mental health settings. Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in psychiatric assessment, psychopharmacology, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and the management of complex mental health conditions across diverse patient populations.
I earned my medical degree and completed extensive clinical training in psychiatry and behavioral health. I chose to join Meridian Health Services because of its strong commitment to serving the community, providing integrated care, and improving access to high-quality mental health services for individuals and families throughout Indiana.
I chose psychiatry because I am passionate about helping people improve their mental health, overcome challenges, and achieve meaningful recovery. Building therapeutic relationships and making a positive impact on my patients’ lives is deeply rewarding and continues to inspire my work every day.
My goal is for every patient to feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their care. I strive to create an environment where patients can openly discuss their concerns and actively participate in their treatment. I hope each patient leaves our visits with a better understanding of their care, greater confidence in their recovery, and renewed hope for the future.
