Child Advocacy Center
By the numbers
- Cases accepted for prosecution have tripled since the Child Advocacy Center opened in 2007, from 27% to almost 80%.
- In Indiana, two children die from abuse every month.
The Gresham Center includes a regional Child Advocacy Center, which offers interviews and investigations of children who have experienced abuse.
The Child Advocacy Center allows community law enforcement and legal teams to pursue reports of child abuse more effectively in an environment designed to keep children’s comfort and well-being as a top priority. The Gresham Center maintains a caring and healing environment for victims of child abuse.
Meridian Services’ Child Advocacy Center has received full national accreditation by the National Children’s Alliance. Only four of Indiana’s 21 facilities have met the rigorous standards to receive this accreditation.

FosterHope strives for a reduction in the level of therapeutic care that a foster child requires with the hope of reunification and reducing the overall time in foster homes. FosterHope provides clinical services (therapy and case management) to foster children and clinical support to foster parents, including 24/7 access to behavioral support, crisis intervention and emergency respite.
