Christina Ahnafield, PMHNP

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Meridian’s Muncie office, where I provide compassionate, patient centered care to individuals facing mental health challenges.

I previously worked for 15 years as a nurse case manager and gained broad experience in mental health across multiple clinical settings. I earned my undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Indianapolis and completed my master’s degree in psychiatric nursing in December 2024.

I chose Meridian for its strong commitment to high quality, compassionate mental health care and its supportive, values driven environment. I was drawn to psychiatry because mental health affects every part of a person’s life, and I value the opportunity to support patients during vulnerable moments.

My goal is for patients to feel safe, heard, and respected. I strive to create a calm, non judgmental space so patients leave feeling supported and understood.
