Personal Bio
I am a primary care nurse practitioner serving patients of all ages in Marion, Indiana, and I am currently accepting new patients. I was born and raised in Marion, and I am proud to care for the community I call home. My goal is to improve the health of our community one patient at a time.
Most of my professional experience comes from working in a hospital setting, where I spent nearly 10 years caring for patients. During that time, I discovered my passion for outpatient care while completing my education. I truly enjoy getting to know my patients and partnering with them to improve their health and overall quality of life.
I am a doctorally prepared nurse practitioner, having completed my degree at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion. I chose to work at Meridian because of its whole-person approach to healthcare. This approach focuses not only on physical health, but also on mental and social well-being. I also value that our Marion location offers primary care, mental health, and dental services together in one convenient setting.
My decision to pursue a career in healthcare began with my desire to help others. I cared for my grandmother when she was no longer able to live independently, and that experience showed me how meaningful caregiving could be. It inspired me to enroll in nursing school and ultimately led me to my current role.
When patients visit me, I want them to leave feeling empowered. I strive to create a sense of partnership, where we work together toward a shared goal of improving their health. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve this community, my community, and to make a positive impact in the lives of those I care for.
