Personal Bio
I am a Family Nurse Practitioner providing primary care services for patients of all ages at Meridian Health Services in Rushville, Indiana. My passion is helping patients feel supported, heard, and cared for throughout every stage of their health journey.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a nurse at IU University on the Medical Progressive Care Unit for five years. That experience strengthened my desire to provide more personalized, patient-centered care. I later worked at RMH Walk-In, where I gained experience caring for patients of all ages with a wide range of health concerns.
I earned my second bachelor’s degree through the Accelerated BSN program at Marian University before completing my Master of Science in Nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University. Meridian gave me the opportunity to grow as a primary care provider and build lasting relationships with patients while supporting their long-term health goals through holistic, continuous care.
Originally, I planned to become a physical therapist after a sports injury introduced me to the impact compassionate healthcare providers can have on a person’s life. After earning my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, I discovered my true calling was nursing. Healthcare has always been a meaningful part of my family, with my mother, brother, grandmother, and great-grandmother all serving in nursing careers.
My goal is for every patient to feel comfortable, safe, and free from judgment when they visit my office. I strive to care for each person physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I want my patients to know they will always be seen, heard, and involved in creating a care plan that supports their individual goals and needs.
