Shreeram Kumar, MD

I attended medical school and completed residency training with Lutheran General Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. This training allowed me to learn and treat a wide variety of disorders encountered through Pediatric Medicine. Additionally, I acquired a Master’s degree in Public Health. I have always had an interest in science, which led to my medical career.
I have practiced Pediatric Medicine for the past 17 years in both South Carolina and Indiana. I am excited to work with the Meridian Health network because of its focus on “whole-person healthcare.” By treating an individual’s physical, mental and social health, I get the opportunity to be part of the total well-being of our patients.
I look forward to caring for the youth in our communities, from newborn to age 19. I encourage my patients and family members to ask questions. Whether it is a well-check visit or a child dealing with an illness, I will be there to treat, educate, guide, and counsel.
