RICHMOND, Ind. — The Meridian Health Services location on South Ninth Street now provides urgent medical care to patients of all ages.
MeridianMD Convenience Care Clinic is located at 520 S. Ninth St. to provide walk-in primary urgent care, according to a news release. It will continue to provide services as Meridian Family Medical Care and Meridian Dentistry.
The clinic will be open noon-8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Additionally, Rae Marie Rader joins MeridianMD Convenience Care Clinic as a full-time family nurse practitioner. She has 10 years experience after receiving her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana University.
“We have been working to find the perfect consistent provider for this location to provide a familiar face and enhance the patient experience,” Jodie Wendel, director of primary care and dental at Meridian Health Services, said in the release. “We are incredibly excited to have found Rae Marie Rader, who will be joining our team at the MeridianMD Convenience Care clinic. With our new provider and expansion of hours, we will be able to meet the needs of our community and unexpected urgent health issues even more.”
MeridianMD Convenience Care also offers patients connections to primary, social and community healthcare. Most insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, are accepted, and Meridian has a sliding fee scale for patients who qualify.
