Supporting Our Communities Affected By Historical Flooding

Our thoughts are with the individuals, families and businesses affected by the recent flooding across Indiana. We know many in our communities are facing tremendous loss, uncertainty and stress.

We want to help connect our community members with helpful information and resources:

If your home or business has experienced damage, please contact your insurance agent to ask about any eligible coverage.

Document damage before beginning cleanup and keep receipts for related expenses.

State and local emergency resources are being coordinated, and additional assistance may become available as damage assessments continue. Please watch our Facebook page as we will be sharing some of the resources that may be available.

  • Volunteer efforts can be coordinated through your local Emergency Management.
  • Check official local sources for the latest information on roads, schools and other community updates.
  • We are grateful for the neighbors, first responders, volunteers, organizations and businesses coming together to support one another. Our community is stronger when we care for one another.

Supporting Those Affected

The effects of a disaster can continue long after the water recedes. Displacement, loss, uncertainty, stress and grief can take an emotional toll – sometimes immediately and sometimes in the weeks or months ahead.
Meridian employees are hard at work checking on patients who have been impacted and need assistance in navigating next steps.

If you or someone you know needs mental health support, please reach out to us at 866-306-2647 or schedule an appointment at https://www.MeridianHS.org/request/. Help is available for those needing counseling, crisis support or connection to community resources. Meridian Health Services is also here to help patients navigate care when circumstances make appointments or access difficult.
