FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker and leaders with the City of Fort Wayne and House Investments, LLP. gathered in southeast Fort Wayne Thursday for a groundbreaking ceremony marking the beginning of phase two for the Village Premier project.
The second phase of the Village Premier project is the construction of a new 9,800-square-foot neighborhood clinic where Meridian Health Services will provide health care services.
The neighborhood clinic, which will be located in the area of Joshua Lane and McKinney Avenue, is a $4.5 million investment that is expected to be completed in Spring 2025.
In addition to the groundbreaking ceremony, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Thursday to celebrate the completion of phase one of the Village Premier project. The first phase of the Village Premier project was Park’s Edge, a residential neighborhood, which is located in the area of South Anthony Boulevard and McKinnie Avenue.
