HIP 2.0

On January 27, 2015 Governor Mike Pence announced that the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP 2.0) was approved and applications were being accepted with coverage to begin February 1, 2015. HIP 2.0 provides coverage for qualified low-income Hoosiers ages 19 to 64, who are interested in participating in a low-cost health care program. HIP is a consumer driven health plan that requires members to make monthly contributions to their POWER accounts in order to maintain coverage. Hoosiers with incomes of up to $16,297 annually for an individual, $21,967 for a couple, or $33,307 for a family of four are generally eligible to participate in the Healthy Indiana Plan. There are 4 plan options for HIP 2.0:
