Meridian to host one-day vaccine clinics on Saturday, no pre-registration required

MUNCIE, Ind. — Meridian Health Services will be hosting two, one-day COVID-19 vaccination clinics this Saturday, with no pre-registration through the state’s site required.

The clinics will operate as both drive-thru and walk-up sites 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, March 27, at Meridian’s Southside Middle School clinic, 1601 E. 26th St., and Meridian Health Pediatrics, 205 N. Tillotson Ave.

Those taking part in the event must meet the state’s current vaccine eligibility of age 40 and older, or fit into other eligible categories, including first responders and healthcare workers, teachers and school employees and pregnant women age 18 and older.

Those with special medical conditions, as designated by Indiana State Department of Health, also are eligible, but must already be registered via 211 or a specially provided link by a medical provider.

The event will be on a first come, first serve basis and participants must bring a personal ID.
