Portland, Ind. – MeridianMD – Convenience Care, Meridian’s urgent care clinic currently seeing patients at 500 W. Votaw Street in Portland within IU Health-Jay, will begin seeing patients at its new location just down the road at 406 W. Votaw Street on September 30.
The new location is the current home to MeridianMD – Family Medical Care and Meridian Dental – Family Dentistry. This is an exciting transition as the community and patients will have access to a broad spectrum of services including primary medical care, dentistry, and now urgent care all conveniently under one roof.
MeridianMD – Convenience Care will continue its services as normal at the current location at 500 W. Votaw Street through 8:00 p.m. on September 29. The clinic offers walk-in, urgent care for all ages seven days a week. Services include illness treatment, minor injury care, and school/sports physicals.
The community is invited to tour the clinic on October 9 from 1 to 6pm during Meridian’s Flu-Lapalooza free one-day flu shot clinic event. Vaccines are free to those six months and older, while supplies last. Flu-Lapalooza features free flu shots, a $50 grocery gift card giveaway (participants only), snacks, and festive costumes and candy.
