City Fit 2019

Thanks for Joining Us Saturday, June 1, 2019

City Fit was a big hit! Events included a Color Run/Walk, Zumba, yoga, FREE Health screenings, strength building classes, KID’S ZONE, nutritional cooking classes, and much more! Classes were free for all ages, allowing participants to get a taste of what a fitness class is like without the pressure or expense of a gym. FREE Kids cooking classes provided by 4-H Healthy Habits educating and promoting healthy meal and snack choices were a hit! Over 40 local vendor booths were on-site and provided information on healthy lifestyle options available within the community. See you again in 2020!

Meridian Health Services’ City Fit is an event promoting “whole-person” health in the city of Richmond, IN. The purpose of a “whole-person” health approach is to provide our community with all of the resources needed to live a healthy life. This is accomplished by providing the best physical, mental and social care we can. Richmond is rich in resources, and City Fit is an opportunity to bring them all together in partnership. By doing so, we can better take care of our families, friends, neighbors and overall community.
