I was an RN for 17 years prior to obtaining FNP. I have experience in various areas from home healthcare/Hospice to ER.

As a child I remember visiting my grandmother in the hospital through various treatments for breast cancer. I noticed the different interactions between her and the nurses. It was obvious which ones made her feel at ease or increased her anxiety. I wanted to be a good nurse to help others
