Personal Bio
I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with Meridian Health Services, serving patients at the Dunkirk and Portland offices. In my role, I provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan, including diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, conducting wellness visits, prescribing medications, and promoting preventive care. I am dedicated to building strong, trusting relationships with my patients and supporting the overall health and well-being of the communities I serve.
Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, I worked as a Registered Nurse in several high-acuity settings, including the Surgical Trauma Neuro ICU, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Emergency Department. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in critical thinking, fast-paced decision-making, and holistic patient care. Throughout my nursing career, I have found the greatest fulfillment in serving my local community and supporting patients during some of their most vulnerable moments.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Francis and went on to complete my Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University. I am board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I chose to join Meridian Health Services because of its strong commitment to community-based healthcare, which closely aligns with my values as a provider. I am passionate about caring for patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care and chronic disease management to improve long-term health outcomes.
I chose to become a Family Nurse Practitioner because I wanted to make a lasting impact on people’s lives through healthcare. Building trust with patients and guiding them through both everyday and complex health decisions is incredibly meaningful to me. My goal is for patients to feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for during each visit, and to leave feeling supported, confident, and empowered to take an active role in their health.
