NEW CASTLE, Ind. – Meridian Health Services’ Maternal Treatment Program will host an open house on August 16 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Meridian Health Services located at 930 N. 14th St., New Castle, IN 47362. The community is invited to learn more about the program which helps mothers struggling with substance use disorder and their newborn babies.
The New Castle-Henry County Chamber of Commerce will be conducting a ribbon cutting at the open house at 3:15 p.m. in celebration of the program’s opening in the community. Light refreshments and appetizers will be served.
The Maternal Treatment Program helps change lifestyles of mothers in crisis, which in turn improves the outcomes for children born into addiction. The program offers substance use treatment, individual and group therapy, child development and positive pregnancy, case management and skills training, and more to help mothers and their babies.
Meridian Health Services has Maternal Treatment Program locations in New Castle, Anderson, Lafayette, Muncie, and Richmond. The program’s services are designed to use “whole-person” health methods to prevent, educate, treat, and provide community support for its patients.
