Meridian Health Services welcomes new vice president of human resources

Kellie Pearson-Carroll has been named the new vice president of human resources at Meridian Health Services.

Pearson-Carroll has more than 20 years of human resource operations and management in hospital and healthcare organizations, according to a release. At Meridian, she will oversee the development and implementation of human resource policies, recruitment, retention, legal compliance, benefit plans, employee relations, communication and employee events.

Having earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Temple University in Philadelphia, Penn., Pearson-Carroll went on to obtain her certification in human resources from Villanova University, Villanova, Penn., and completed her Ph.D coursework with Capella University, Minneapolis, Minn.

Prior to her new position at Meridian, Pearson-Carroll served as chief human resources officer for American Academic Health System, the owner of both Hahnemann University Hospital and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Before that, she was the executive director of human resources for Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA.
